HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

Fully trained and competent scaffolders, quality materials and committed management ensures a safe scaffold every time. To maintain our exemplary safety record, RJD has an ongoing commitment to health and safety.

Management team have SMSTS or SSSTS (CITB) designated health & safety manager with Nebosh general and construction, IOSH.

 

Regular site audits are carried out by our internal safety consultants, our supervisors are either basic or advanced inspectors. In addition to CITB training, RJD provides in house training ensuring our operatives meet the following standard:

  • CISRS Scaffolder Level 1 

  • Working at Height

  • Asbestos Awareness

  • Rescue from Falls

  • Manual Handling

The National Access and Scaffolding Confederation operates a strict policy of compliance to all new legislation and its own code of conduct. RJD Scaffolding work in accordance with this policy.

RJD are committed to complying with legal requirements as a minimum standard and also to complying with other environmental requirements set by our customers and the NASC.
